Aim: To provide accessible opportunities for all undergraduate researchers.
Research is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought.Albert Szent-Gyorgyi
But who will give us this opportunity see what is on the front lines of research? Finding research opportunities as an undergraduate can be a daunting task. The process of finding undergraduate research is as follows:
While currently a medical student, I found the hardest part of the undergrad process was actually finding an advertised position with an area of focus that interested me. Unfortunately, for almost all undergraduates, experience is a highly valuable asset, whether or not it is in your field of interest. Thus many students apply to anything they can and hope to get their foot in the door. My aim with undergradresearch.ca is to provide a database for all undergraduate Canadians with research opportunities.
